Props List

In our video we will need props that will create a verisimilitude to the audience. These will have to be of the typical conventions and mise en scene of the bassline genre in music to create reliability and familiarness. In our video we will be using and needing the following:

1) Cap - for the main performer, this is well known for bassline genre as an individual needs to stand out from the crowd.

2) Technology - this is a huge prop used in many other genres as it is modern e.g. ipod's, games consoles, mobile phones etc.

3) Bed - this is needed for our first and last scene of the main performer in which the narrative will take action.

4) Decks - this will be needed to show the producer of the track in action remixing the song to show realism.

5) Smoke - this is typical of youth to smoke either fags or sheesha.

Other things such as bling and looking like a raver/dancer will be needed to make the video successful and as real as possible.
