In our bassline music video we will need to make sure the performers/dancers/ravers and people that take part are organised wearing the right clothing to promote our video. This is needed for a sense of familiarity and for the audience to immediately recognise that it is a bassline music video.
As we are expressing youth and fun in our video and brand image we do not need specific clothing as we are going to show the reality of youth and break the typical stereotypes. The characters are going to come dressed as they normally would on a day out to create realism.
However we are going for a BLACK and PURPLE theme of clothing. These are two strong colours which will attract and catch the viewers eye but more importantly it is the brand identity of our artist, Ruky. All his previous album's have been constructed of a black and purple colour theme and for consistency the ancillary tasks consisting of the album cover and magazine advert will be of black and purple also. This is easier for the audience to realise that it is a specific artist and is easier when filming to have everyone organised.
